An electro-capacitive (EC) conversion kit designed for your Derivative keyboard.

Love the feel of Topre or EC but can’t bear to part with your Derivative? Now you don’t have to! Just a heads-up—this is a BYOB (bring your own board) situation, so don’t get too hyped—the keyboard itself isn’t included. But you do get a killer plate, an absolutely stellar PCB, fully custom silicone friction-fit tabs, and some perfectly average (but totally essential) screws.

Take your already-awesome Derivative and transform it into the thocky antihero your desk deserves.

Important Disclaimer

This kit does not officially support OEM Topre stems and parts. It is intended to be used with MX sliders produced by several third-parties and DynaCap (available end of Summer). For this project to be possible, several of the integrated housings have been rotated to avoid interfering case geometry. While this doesn't pose any issues with MX stems and keycaps, rotated OEM Topre stems also cause the Topre keycaps to be rotated 90 degrees. That being said, varied success stories with OEM Topre parts have been shared. Our discord also offers printable Topre stems that are rotated to work with this kit and others like it.
