A note on POM plates...
POM (Delrin) is chosen for its smooth surface and EC-friendly properties — and like all natural materials, it has its own personality. POM can develop a slight bow during the machining process; this is a known characteristic of the material, not a defect. Once your plate is seated with the PCB and compressed under the keyboard's gasket mounting, it functions exactly as intended.
Machine mark patterns are visible on plate surfaces by design — POM is left unfinished to preserve the smoothest possible feel underhand and against your switches.
Due to the nature of POM as a material, replacements are not offered for minor warping that does not affect function.
These plates are machined out of POM (Delrin). POM has a tendency to warp during the machining process. The factory producing these plates is very experienced in controlling quality, but some plates could still have a slightly bent profile. Once installed with the PCB and compressed via the keyboard's gasket mounting, there are no functional issues.
